Activities

Epworth Village Retirement Community offers a variety of daily activities for all residents whether they are in Independent Living or Assisted Living. Epworth Village provides residents with opportunities to enjoy themselves in activities to learn new skills and socialize with other residents.

To find new ways to relax, residents can take part in meditation classes or laughter yoga. Epworth Village also offers arts and crafts classes where residents can showcase their talents by creating works of arts such as jewelry, stained-glass, paintings, and sculptures.

As a part of Epworth Village’s mission to promote active retirement living and independence, weekly shuttles are arranged to take residents of the community to local business. For example, senior residents are able to go to the Milander Aquatic Center, Westland Mall, Hialeah Casino, or simply to the local Publix for any necessities.

(Our Director of Activities supervises an extensive arts and crafts program, planned activities, games, excursions, and various exercise programs. Music Under the Stars, movies, and our monthly birthday celebration are all part of the lifestyle enjoyed by the residents at Epworth.)
